Hey! I’m Annie, a MechE senior @ Duke who loves Art & Tech.
That’s why I’m passionate about consumer hardware.
Fun fact about me: I grew up New Haven, but spent the last 10 years in China!
I’ve been tinkering in actuator design, and recently made an improved actuator for MIT’s research quadruped to optimize parameters like torque density while reducing manufacturing cost. I’m currently working on fixing the motor’s winding issues.
At Duke, you can catch me playing 🏐 on the main quad or painting another cat meme at the Arts Annex. I also just came back from studying abroad in Sydney (cahn’t take the aussie out of the girl!) and am officially 3 shaders tanner :)
Last thing about me is that I’m always down to hear a story that makes me want to live through you vicariously. Let’s talk!
